The shocking retirement of head coach Bruce Arians from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has the NFL world abuzz.

It isn’t the first time things in Tampa have drawn a crowd in 2022.

Tom Brady started off the intrigue by coming out of retirement 40 days after his retirement announcement.

The effect has dominoed into Arians with his retirement and moving to the front office with the Bucs

Now Bucs fans are just waiting for him to pull a Brady and come out of retirement.

However, that is not likely to happen as his past health issues could prevent him from a return.

Also, he thinks now is the best time to give Todd Bowles the reins in Tampa Bay.

Todd Bowles Gets Another Shot In The NFL As Head Coach

Bowles’ last head coaching job was with the New York Jets back in 2018.

His first experience at head coach came with the Miami Dolphins when he was interim head coach in 2011 for the team.

Four years after managing a team, he gets another shot with the Buccaneers.

It’s the best time for him to succeed.

If you’re looking for a head coaching job, the Bucs are your best bet.

They have the best quarterback of all time with Brady.

Second, he has a running game, and receivers to back him up on offense.

Third, his offensive line protects him very well in games.

Last, the Bucs have a solid defense to stop their opponents from winning games.

The keys to the Bucs are in Bowles hands.

He now determines if they race through the NFL or crash in a ditch.

What Does The Move Mean For Offensive Coordinator Byron Leftwich?

Bucs fans thought Leftwich would take over when Arians retired.

However, that didn’t seem to be the case for the person Brady thinks would get an opportunity to be head coach.

Also, Brady and Leftwich work well together as a team.

Bowles comes from the defensive side of the Bucs coaching staff.

That’s what makes the move puzzling to some fans that follow the story of Brady and the Bucs.

They think Leftwich would make a perfect replacement for Arians given his relationship with Brady.

We’ll never know if that could have worked out now that Bowles is the head coach.

Can The Bucs Succeed With Bowles At Head Coach?

Fans of the team care about winning games and winning championships.

While Leftwich might have been a better fit, Tampa Bay now has Bowles as head coach.

So the fans just want him to succeed and help the team reach the Super Bowl again.

But does he give the team that chance?

A look back at his coaching record appears to show he doesn’t give them that chance.

However, he was coaching the Jets.

We need to be real here; the Jets aren’t a top tier NFL team.

Plus, they faced Tom and the New England Patriots in their division when Bowles coached them.

Bowles also allows Brady and Leftwich to work together unimpeded.

When you look at all the variables with Bowles, you will see he is fine with the keys to the Bucs.
