Ja’Marr Chase impressed the football world during his rookie season with the Cincinnati Bengals.
In his rookie season last year, he had 81 receptions for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns.
It was one of the best rookie performances by a receiver since Randy Moss in 1998.
While veteran receivers are getting mega contracts in 2020, Chase is locked in his for three more years.
The Bengals also have an option to extend his contract for one more year.
However, there are already talks about Chase and a contract extension even though he’s not eligible for one until 2024.

Could The Bengals Lock Chase In For Five Years?
Only one receiver in 2022 took a five-year deal with a team.
That player is Davante Adams when he signed his deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.
They were wise to lock in the league’s best receiver for that long.
A similar deal with Chase and the Bengals makes sense as well.
The team could offer Chase a five-year, $180 million contract, if Chase’s performance keeps improving in the NFL.
It would make his deal nearly $40 million more than the one that Adams got in Vegas.
However, Chase would be worth it for a Bengals team that wants to be Super Bowl contender every year.
He also has a connection with Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who he played with during their time at LSU.
Together they make a great one-two combination in Cincinnati for years to come.
Chase And Burrow Are The Bengals’ Future
The two young players make up the explosive Bengals passing offense.
Without them, the Bengals offense will suffer.
The two players were college teammates and have brought that college chemistry into the NFL.
They worked together to help send the LSU Tigers to a National Championship.
It would be that chemistry that helped them get the Bengals to the Super Bowl during the NFL 2021-22 season.
That chemistry is deep, as Chase actually brought a house next to Burrow after getting drafted by the Bengals.

Can He Improve On His Stellar Rookie Season?
Improving every season is the goal of every NFL player.
More eyes will be on Chase as he goes into his second season.
Teams will double cover him and stop taking him for granted.
However, he can overcome that extra defense on him.
He is used to getting double-teamed by defenses.
From his college days at LSU to his time in the NFL, he has made the adjustments he needed to beat double coverage.
One of his best games came against the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season.
He had 11 receptions, 266 yards, and three touchdowns in that game.
In their AFC Championship Game, the Chiefs would double-team him.
However, Chase still had six catches and one touchdown in that game, getting the Bengals to the Super Bowl.
