The Phoenix Suns made a big splash in the offseason by acquiring All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards.

It was a move that surprised many, but the Suns were going all-in this year.

Beal joins a team with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, and there may not be a better Big 3 in all of basketball.

The only issue is this Big 3 has yet to play a game together.

Both Beal and Booker have missed time this year with different injuries.

But, Beal is the one with more cause for concern.

According to Shams Charania via “Run It Back” on Twitter, Beal has been shut down.

Phoenix has been going back and forth trying to get him on the floor, but he is not ready.

Beal has a serious back injury that has not healed properly.

Charania mentioned that Beal has been shut down for at least three weeks.

Beal has been an often injured player during his career.

He has not played a full season since 2018-19.

60 games were the most he has played in a season since then.

Phoenix put this team together to win championships.

They need Beal on the floor to be able to accomplish that.

If the needs a month off to get right then so be it, but the Suns will not rush him back.

The Western Conference is as strong as it has ever been.

So the battle for a playoff spot will be intense.

It appears the Suns will have to rely heavily on Durant and Booker to keep them alive through the regular season.
