The MLB lockout ending means business can resume as usual.
That has plenty of fans wondering what will happen next with Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer.
He is no longer facing charges for an alleged sexual assault, but could still face an MLB suspension for his actions.
There is also the reality that he may not be welcomed back into the Dodgers clubhouse.
So what happens next?
MLB insider Jon Heyman offered the latest news on the matter.
According to a league source the MLBPA has agreed to extend Trevor Bauer’s administrative leave for 7 days beginning Sunday March 13 thru Saturday March 19, and Bauer will not report to Spring Training during that time (or prior to this Sunday).

Remember last year when Bauer was constantly on administrative leave?
It appears that will be the case once again in 2022.
Waiting On A Concrete Decision
We know he is no longer facing any criminal charges.
Yet by his own admission of his actions, he may have violated the MLB domestic violence policy.
That should mean a suspension is coming down at some point, even if it will be appealed by the pitcher.
This situation likely would have been resolved if the league was not locked out for nearly 100 days.
Now, spring training is starting and Bauer is no closer to an answer on his status.
The fact the MLBPA keeps agreeing to the administrative leave proves this is a tricky situation for all sides involved.
Bauer remains under contract with the Dodgers as part of his three-year, $102 million he signed last year.
He has opt-outs built in, but will obviously not use those.
So either he keeps getting paid while on leave, or the Dodgers save money via a suspension.
