The Pittsburgh Steelers may be having a quarterback controversy in the near future.
It is not something the organization wants, but with the play of starter Kenny Pickett, they may not have a choice.
Pickett and the Steelers dropped their fourth game of the season on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
It was a disastrous offensive performance where Pickett deserves plenty of blame.
One of the major issues was miscommunication between Pickett and his wide receivers.
A few different Steelers offensive players spoke out on the issues.
But, it was backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky who had some interesting quotes.
According to Brooke Pryor, Trubisky said: “They’ve got to get on the same page. I know what happened. I’m not going to disclose what happened…We just got to all buy in, point the thumb at yourself, and look in the mirror and say how I could get better.”
Mitch Trubisky spoke today and weighed in on the miscommunications between QB and WR:
“They’ve got to get on the same page. I know what happened. I’m not going to disclose what happened. They need to get on the same page. I’m not going to say whose fault it was or who’s at… https://t.co/emPgY4EqaU

Trubisky had his turn as the Steelers’ starting quarterback last year, but it did not go well.
But, he may give them the best chance to win the rest of this season.
At least Trubisky is mobile and can escape the pocket if things get bad.
The Steelers offense needs a spark and maybe a change at quarterback can do that.
With a record of 6-4, the Steelers are very much in the AFC North race.
But, at some point, their lack of offense is going to catch up to them.
Pittsburgh has too good of a defense to not be competitive.
Many hoped Pickett would be the guy to replace Ben Roethlisberger, but the Steelers may start looking elsewhere.
