The Los Angeles Dodgers have an absolutely loaded lineup heading into the 2022 season.
And that’s to be expected for a team favored to win it all, especially after they landed Freddie Freeman.
The Dodgers look scary and have that kind of lineup with so many stars that opposing pitchers pretty much have to pitch to everybody because the next guy could hurt you.
Dodgers’ skipper Dave Roberts is loving it so far and commented that he has about a half a dozen different lineup configurations in his head, meaning he’s got a ton of options and he really can’t go wrong with any of them.
Dave Roberts said Freddie Freeman batting third today isn’t necessarily foreshadowing; said he has about a half dozen lineup configurations in his head.

Endless Possibilities
One would assume Roberts is very happy to have so many options.
This lineup is deep and dangerous and when you have so much star power, there are a number of different things you can do with all of that talent.
The only real question is what Roberts ultimately decides on for his 2022 lineup.
Again, he really can’t go wrong with all the directions he could go.
He commented that Freeman would be hitting third today, but is that what Roberts will do when the season starts?
Will he have Mookie Betts hitting third and Trea Turner in the leadoff spot potentially?
Or does he plan on making Freeman the cleanup hitter?
There are so many options for Roberts here.
Whatever he decides to do will probably end up working out, given the depth of this Dodgers’ team.
The offense will be the strength of the team in 2022 as they look to start their quest for their second World Series title in the last three seasons.
But what will Roberts decide on?
