The Atlanta Braves won their first World Series title since 1995 last year, so predictably, the city is still celebrating.

How do we know they are still ecstatic about they Fall Classic victory against the Houston Astros?

Because they dedicated a new, special uniform to celebrate what the franchise achieved last year: glory.

And glory is, as you know, gold.

“The Atlanta Braves revealed their ‘Gold Uniforms’ that will be worn this season,” MLB on FOX tweeted on Tuesday.

It’s unclear how many times the Braves will wear that uniform, but it’s really attractive: the shiny gold is around the league logo and the team name, among other places.

It also goes well with the white and the red, so it makes for a really impressive uniform all things considered.

The Braves’ Official Account Showed The New Uniform

The Braves’ official Twitter account also uploaded a video of players showing the new threads.

“The World Champs wear GOLD,” they tweeted, followed with a golden star.

After bringing in first baseman Matt Olson and star reliever Kenley Jansen, they look poised to make another run at the title, even if we know that repeating as champions is awfully difficult to accomplish.

The last team to repeat as World Series winners are the 1999-2000 New York Yankees, so it has been a while.

The Braves, however, will also have star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. back in the lineup, presumably starting from late April.

Longtime star Freddie Freeman is the only significant absence, as the team let him sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Nevertheless, the Braves are ready to fight with the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies for the top spot in the NL East division, and could embark on a similar journey if they reach the playoffs again.
