San Francisco 49ers star receiver and all-around Swiss Army knife Deebo Samuel is seeking a trade.
While the move might come from contract tensions, others believe it could be from player personnel.
However, regardless of why he wants this trade, it means the end of a brief era for him with the 49ers.
But one team’s loss is another team’s gain.
So which three teams would be the best landing spots for Deebo Samuel?
3. Chicago Bears
As a Chicago Bears fan, I’m going to show my basis and put them on the list.
However, a deal to Chicago could work out for Samuel.
The 49ers and Bears have made deals in previous years.
This trade deal could work, even if their prior trades didn’t.
It could be much like the 2018 trade Chicago made for Khalil Mack.
It isnt everyday you get a win-win-win in the NFL. But by the time Khalil Mack completes his contract with the Bears, this trade will be boon for all involved. The Raiders, Bears and Mack.

They would gain a star player to make an instant impact on the team.
Chicago also needs a clear number one receiver.
This trade would give them what they need.
However, it all comes down to if the Bears have the draft capital to snag Samuel from San Francisco.
2. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are desperate for a number one receiver after trading away Davante Adams to Las Vegas.
If Aaron Rodgers wants a chance of a third straight MVP title, he needs Samuel in Green Bay.
With the Packers star quarterback thinking people want to play with him, he could use that to lure him to the team.
It also helps that the Packers have draft capital to use in a trade deal with San Francisco.
They have multiple picks in the first two rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft.
While those picks aren’t top picks, they could be enough to snag Samuel.
The move benefits Samuel, who’d get to play with an MVP quarterback in Rodgers.
Fans would love the move as well.

Green Bay is also a playoff team, so he’d have a chance of making a Super Bowl with the Packers.
However, with Rodgers’ contract, the Packers might not have money for a sweet contract for Samuel.
If the Packers can get a deal done, he’d be the clear number one receiver in Green Bay.
1. Kansas City Chiefs
This leads us to the clear favorite to trade for Samuel, both for him and San Francisco.
The Kansas City Chiefs have the cap room and slightly better draft capital with a trade deal between the 49ers and themselves.
They can offer Samuel the contract he desires while giving the 49ers what they want.
He’d also be the clear number one on the roster after a trade the Chiefs made to send Tyreek Hill to Miami.
It also gives Samuel a Super Bowl champion quarterback in Patrick Mahomes.
There are multiple upsides for the Chiefs in a trade deal for Samuel.
A move here could also help JuJu Smith-Schuster, a former number one receiver in Pittsburgh.
Smith-Schuster never had seasons like he did when he wasn’t the number one guy.
With Samuel in Kansas City, the two could work together, having the best seasons of their careers.
