The Green Bay Packers now are in dire need of a receiver after trading away Davante Adams.

The former Packers receiver was a massive part of Aaron Rodgers‘ success over the past several years.

The Packers and Rodgers will be looking for a top-tier replacement for the team.

The team makes the playoffs nearly every year.

That should make things easy when courting an elite receiver.

So who are two receivers Rodgers can help recruit to the Pack?

2. Julio Jones

Julio Jones is a veteran receiver with the experience that Rodgers could use right now.

He is also a star receiver with Super Bowl experience.

The only downside that would come with this is the age factor.

At 33 years old, Jones isn’t in his prime anymore.

However, there have been receivers in the same age group that have done well with a good quarterback.

Rodgers can give Jones the quarterback he needs, while he gives Rodgers the receiver he needs.

The acquisition would be beneficial to all parties involved.

Rodgers can re-ignite that fire in Jones if the Packers make him an offer.

1. Chris Godwin

Some might find this a shocker, but Rodgers could lure Chris Godwin away from Brady and Tampa Bay.

He has the chance to use the reports of Tampa Bay and Brady going after Jones to his advantage.

We have seen with Baker Mayfield in Cleveland how a team meeting with another player can sour a relationship.

Even though Godwin and the Buccaneers have signed a new deal, things can always change in the NFL.

If he feels like he is being snubbed for Jones, it could make him request a trade.

We are seeing this play out in Cleveland right now since they met with Deshaun Watson.

After hearing that news, Mayfield took to Twitter to air out his feelings.

That has led to Mayfield wanting out of Cleveland.

If Rodgers uses this example and pitches it to Godwin, he might get himself an elite receiver.

The Packers have the draft capital to make the trade, and it would be the best trade the Packers could make this season.
